("Light Speed," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our courier technology services, including our website at lightspeedlgc.com, our retailer dashboard, our courier app, our REST API, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you create an account, send a shipment, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, business name, billing address
  • Shipment details — sender and recipient names, addresses, contact details, package descriptions
  • Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
  • Communications — messages you send to support, chat transcripts, survey responses

Information collected automatically

  • Device data — browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, referrer URLs
  • Location data — when our courier app is in use during deliveries (with consent)

Information from third parties

  • E-commerce platforms — when you connect your store, we receive order and customer information
  • Service providers — payment processors and fraud-detection providers may share verification data

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Services or as legally required.

With couriers

Limited to what's needed to deliver: recipient name, delivery address, package details, and contact information for delivery coordination.

With retailers

For shipments you receive, the originating retailer can see tracking status and delivery confirmation.

With service providers

Payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, and customer support platforms — all under written data-processing agreements.

For legal reasons

To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, enforce our agreements, and protect rights, safety, and property.

In business transfers

If we're acquired, sell substantially all assets, or undergo a merger or bankruptcy, your information may transfer to the successor entity.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, remembering your preferences (theme, language), security, and analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
